Boarding Add-ons

With added activities now available upon request, your dog will want to extend their own vacation stay! Like they say, a tired dog is a happy dog!’ Listed below are prices and details on CFK9’s add-on options. Once the activities are completed, we will send you an update with pictures of how it went. If you have any questions, please give us a call to speak to the Sports & Events Manager or email Christine@CentralFloridaK9.com.

Extra Trail Walks $15 

In addition to several (included) walks with a Kennel Tech and off-leash time outdoors in a secure play yard, we now offer extra walks. With 30 acres to roam, there is plenty of space to explore during their stay. You can choose one extra walk a day or multiple walks per day! 

Summertime Cool Down (Seasonal) $20

As we know summertime can be brutal here in Florida. For those that don’t enjoy the pool but would love to stay cool, we are now offering an extra playtime session that has a splash pad, kiddie pool and beef broth popsicle stick. 

Picnics and Puzzles $25

This is a great option for dogs that are not interested in sports and would rather enjoy a relaxing picnic outside (seasonal fruits & veggies) along with different skill-level puzzles for play & enrichment. *If your dog requires a special diet or has allergies, please let reception know in advance.

Art Project $25

A “Lick Painting” involves a canvas covered with drips of paint, placed into a peanut butter-covered (Ziploc®) plastic bag. As your dog licks off the peanut butter, they “paint” the canvas. We also offer ‘pawprint paintings’ to be enjoyed by dogs who don’t mind having their paws handled. 

‘Meet the Rat’ $25

Your dog will be meeting one of our rats to see if this sparks your dog’s interest for potential scent work competitions or just for fun! The rat is enclosed in a special cage to keep the animals safe. Let us know if your dog has already ‘met the rat’ and you want to continue to advance.

Swim Lesson $30

From beginners to advanced swimmers, this is a great way to get some lower-impact exercise and cool off in the warmer months! If your dog requires a life vest, please bring one labeled with their first & last name, as well as their favorite water toys. CFK9 offers life-vests and water toys for purchase in the gift shop which is in the reception area. (Weather Permitting)

Paddle Board $45

Warmer weather provides a great time to introduce or practice getting your dog on a paddle board. Your dog is required to have experience in any body of water prior to this. Make sure to pack their favorite treats and a life vest. (Weather Permitting) 

NASDA - Intro to Sheds $30

This is an introduction to one many NASDA games. Your dog will be introduced to ungulate antlers with added antler odor. Please bring their favorite soft treats. 

Fast CAT Fun Run $25

Fast CAT which stands for Coursing Ability Test, is a timed 100-yard dash where dogs will race one at a time chasing a lure. They will run one time during the event and will be handled by a staff member. This will be offered to boarding dogs when they are staying during an event. This is a great way to exercise or even practice for upcoming competitions. Keep an eye out for the next one! 

Confidence Course $30

Our confidence course is designed to help your dog conquer obstacles such as our ramps, jumps, tunnels, and different surfaces in order for them to develop a higher level of confidence. 

Frisbee $30

Who doesn't love playing Frisbee?! This is a great way to get that extra energy out! We have a wide variety of different types of frisbees for both beginners and advanced. We do encourage that if they have a favorite frisbee at home to bring that in. Don’t forget to label the item.

Soccer $30

During soccer we have a large goal set up and several types of balls they can choose from. Sounds like doggie heaven! Your dog will enjoy running/chasing the ball in hopes of getting the ball in the goal!

Birthday Package $35

Is it your dog’s birthday this month or are they having one during their boarding stay? Let us know! We love having an excuse to throw a party. Your dog will receive a small goody bag to take home, a pup cup, extra playtime and a social media post. You will receive an update after the party is over! 

Cold Laser $35

CFK9 is excited to now offer cold laser therapy for your canine companions. For more information, please see our Health and Wellness Manager. 

Treadmill $25

Introducing your dog to a treadmill and/or slat mill is a great way to provide them with a low-impact workout that helps improve fitness, stamina, and mental stimulation. Whether you're managing their weight, enhancing their physical conditioning, or just seeking an alternative exercise method, our treadmills offer a safe and controlled environment for your dog to enjoy a tailored workout. Let us guide your dog through a fun and effective exercise routine to boost their health and happiness!


More Information

Prerequisites for: Basic manners, obedience and must have completed a sports questionnaire at drop off. Some exclusions may apply due to temperament, health and/or age.

*All dogs must be up-to-date on all vaccinations.* 

What to Bring

Please bring your dog's favorite treats. If your dog is participating in swim lessons and requires a vest, please bring one. You are welcome to bring water toys as well. Forgot something? That’s ok! We do have life vests, water toys, treats and so much more offered at our store located in reception. 

When

Anytime they board with us! Just let us know either before or at drop off. Limited spacing available!
