SWIM LESSONS & Pool Rental
Swim Lessons and Intro to Dock Diving with Coach Christine are offered throughout the week, including at least one weekend day. 30 minutes = $50, instructor included.
Pool Rental times vary. Instructor not included. 25 minutes = $35 55 minutes = $60
(Pool is closed each Wednesday for maintenance.)

Star Puppy Basics: 4/27/24 - 6/1/24
- 6-week Class Series Focusing on puppy manners - focus, jumping, sitting for greetings, doorways and leash manners.
- Basic obedience - sit, stay, down, recall, heel, place and name recognition.
- Foundational training - socialization, confidence boosting.
- Work towards AKC Star Puppy.
- Assistant trainers on hand to give individual instruction as needed.
- $300 - 6 sessions
Requirements: For puppies age 4 months and older. Puppies must have completed all vaccinations in order to attend. First time attendees call ahead. Evaluation may be required.

The Nose Work sport is a fun search and scenting activity for all dogs and people. This easy-to-learn sport builds confidence and focus in many dogs and provides a safe way to keep dogs fit and healthy through mental and physical exercise.
K9 Nose Work starts with getting your dog excited about using his nose to find a favorite toy or treat reward hidden in one of several boxes, expanding the game to entire rooms, exterior areas, and vehicles. As your dog grows more confident with his nose, target odors are introduced, and competition skills are taught.
Target odors for National Association of Canine Scent Work (NACSW) are made using 100% cotton swabs, cut in half and scented with one of three essential oils: Birch, Anise and Clove.

This Florida NASDA trial will be sponsored by Central Florida K-9 Nose Sports on the grounds of Central Florida K-9. 40 fully fenced and cross-fenced acres located in North Central Florida with interior spaces for Lost Item, Urban Locating and Urban Challenge. Shed, Trailing & Locating, and Brace Trailing will be inside fenced fields.
NASDA Working Dog Trials offer an opportunity for all dogs to engage in scent games previously open to only a select few breeds and working dogs. Competing teams can get titles and championships that showcase their merits and abilities within hunt and search situations. NASDA games provide a wide variety of “stuff” for your dogs to sniff out – you can choose a game based on your dog's interests, or you can play them all!

Prerequisites: Basic manners, obedience and leash handling skills.
Each team will have practice and trial-like Level I & Level II runs in the competition classes: Shed Dog, Lost Item, Trailing & Locating, and Urban Locating.
Each class will have a brief discussion of the class and level objectives, scoring, deductions, and titling. A demo dog will run, and then each participant will pass through three consecutive search locations. Each
class will conclude with a brief review of scoring.

Star Puppy Basics
- 6-week Class Series - Focusing on puppy manners - focus, jumping, sitting for greetings, doorways and leash manners.
- Basic obedience - sit, stay, down, recall, heel, place and name recognition.
- Foundational training - socialization, confidence boosting.
- Work towards AKC Star Puppy.
- Assistant trainers on hand to give individual instruction as needed.
Requirements: For puppies age 4 months and older. Puppies must have completed all vaccinations in order to attend. First time attendees call ahead. Evaluation may be required.
Basic CGC Obedience
- 7-week Class Series - Teaching new and maintaining any previous commands learned from star puppy up to 20ft with new distractions.
- Commands including, sit, down, stay, come, heel, place, off, leave it.
- Continue to build and better the handler/dog bond, fine-tune basic commands. Working Towards AKC CGC.
- Assistant trainers on hand to give individual instruction as needed.
Requirements: CGC Star Puppy, Prior board and train here at CFK9, or an evaluation. Up-to-date vaccinations.
Advanced Urban Obedience
- 7-week Class Series - Teaching new and maintaining any previous commands learned from star puppy up to 20ft with new distractions.
